Mazda Bongo Campervan Conversions

Mazda Bongo Campervan Conversion Designs

The Mazda Bongo is an excellent base vehicle for camper conversion, as standard they have A/C, built in blinds, rear windows, panelling and flooring already fitted. As such they are a much cheaper vehicle to convert than the standard panelvans available.

The Mazda Bongo is quite a bit smaller that the VW Transporter/ Mercedes Vito, but this is often why they are chosen to convert to a campervan given that they are easy and comfortable to drive around town. A lot (but not all) of the Bongos (also badged as Ford Fredas) have a factory fitted electrically operated elevating roof which will sleep two adults. All in all you get a lot of van for your money with a Mazda Bongo.
